102 Die, 473 Injured In Auto Crashes On Ogun Highways In 4 Months

102 persons have died in various auto crashes on major highways across Ogun State between January and April this year.

Also, 473 persons were injured in 177 accidents recorded during the period under review.

The State Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Clement Oladele, made this known in a statement, to mark the 2019 UN Road Safety Week.

The FRSC Sector Commander lists major highways prone to accidents in the State as including Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway, especially the Siun, Kobape and Day Waterman Junctions and Adede section of the road.

He says that there were 12 deaths from 16 accidents recorded on the axis during the four month period.

Oladele ask motorists to be cautious while driving at the bend adjacent to the PMB estate, near Kobape, adding that motorists should not exceed 80 kilometers per hour in the area.
