An estimated 10,000 have been killed in cult related violence on campuses and out of campuses of Nigeria’s higher institutions of learning, between 1996 and this year.
Chairman of exams ethics Marshall international, Uche Onyechere, made this known at a news conference in Lagos.
He says that 40 different cult groups with 12,000 chapters are now operating on the campuses of the institutions.
Onyechere calls for a new marshal plan of action to end cultism and sex-for-grades in the institutions.
