10,000 POLICE JOBS: New recruits to undergo lie tests

Acting Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim, has directed the conduct of lie test on successful applicants in the ongoing 10,000 police jobs recruitment exercise.

Ibrahim in a statement by the force Spokesman, Don Anwunah, said the lie tests would be conducted on the applicants along with general background checks, biometric, medical and physical examination, as well as, aptitude, oral and psychological tests.

The police chief said the tests aims at ensuring that applicants of questionable characters are not admitted into the force.

The applicants who passed the screening tests are now writing aptitude tests at the state police commands nationwide.
