British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright, says investors from the United Kingdom have indicated interest in Ogun state.
The diplomat, who made this known during a courtesy call on Governor Ibikunle Amosun at the governor’s office in Abeokuta, commended the infrastructural development in the state.
He said British investors are ready to move into the state.
The diplomat said the purpose of his visit to the state was to seek areas of partnership with the Ogun State government, to strengthen the business ties with UK government.
Arkwright, said the policies and programmes of the President Buhari administration are capable of taking Nigeria to the greater heights, and called on Nigerians to be patient and show understanding in its ongoing moves to turn around the economy.
Governor Ibikunle Amosun said the united kingdom had a role to play in rebuilding the image 0f Nigeria abroad, being its former colonial master.
