Troops have killed four boko haram fighters during a clearance patrol in Yobe state.
Army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman, in a statement said the troops who were on patrol in the Jororo and Tombaeji villages encountered boko haram fighters on Wednesday at Gajure village.
He said four of them were killed and one captured after a 15 minute shoot-out.
Usman listed weapons captured from the terrorists as including two general purpose machine guns, two AK-47 rifles, 144 rounds of 76.2 special ammunition.
