Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to invite more people with needed expertise into running his government, in order to move Nigeria forward.
He expressed concern that the All Progressive Congress (APC) Government failed to take the necessary steps and formulate policies that would lead to a productive economy
Saraki speaking during the senate plenary to mark the first year anniversary of the eight senate, told Buhari that a more inclusive government would give all Nigerians a sense of belonging and an opportunity to effectively participate in the solving the monumental challenges facing the country.
He said there was an urgent need to bring the best brains in Nigeria into his cabinet, even from the opposition parties.
He said even people who voted against APC in the 2015 polls believe in the change being championed by the Buhari administration, and should be given an opportunity to contribute their quota in solving problems.
