The Presidency has faulted calls by PDP on President Buhari to resign over the economic recession which has brought economic hardships to homes of Nigerians.
Information and Culture Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in a statement, described PDP’s demand as a shameful act, calculated to distract Buhari from repositioning Nigeria.
Mohammed who said that APC has nothing to learn from PDP who he accused of looting and squandering the national resources while in power for 16 years and sets the stage for today’s economic crisis.
The Minister said Buhari is on a mission to rescue Nigeria that PDP left in a coma, said it was not possible to solve the problems of economic recession without talking about the past when the external reserves dropped from 462 billion in 2008, to $30 billion last year.
