The presidency has received a clean copy of the long awaited corrected details of the 2016 budget bill from the National Assembly.
With the receipt of the clean copy, President Muhammdu Buhari is expected to assent to the 2016 budget anytime from now.
The N6.08 trillion budget bill presented by Buhari to a joint sitting of senate and House of Representatives on December 22, last year, has since been a source of dispute between the National Assembly and the Presidency.
Several times, Buhari had rejected the bill after the federal executive council discovered that the national assembly appropriation committee deleted key projects in the bill and inserted their choice projects into it.
