Eleven Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) state governors have met overnight in Enugu, brainstorming on how to resolve the crisis over the party’s national chairmanship slot, ahead of the December 8 national convention.
The meeting was attended by all the eight aspirants for the post, including former governors Rasheed Ladoja and Gbenga Daniel, and Chief Bode George.
Others are Chiefs Raymond Dokpesi and Jimi Agbaje, Professor Tunde Adeniran, Doctor Taoheed Adedoja and Chief Uche Secondus.
Also in attendance at the meeting were former governor Godswill Akpabio, Sule Lamido, and Gabriel Suswam, as well as Senate deputy president, Ike Ekweremadu, former senate president Adolphus Wabara, and Chief Tom Ikimi.
