The World Bank has indicated its readiness to work with the Ogun State Government in areas of education, rural development and agricultural projects.
The bank’s country director, Rachid Benmassoud, stated this while addressing newsmen at the end of a meeting with Governor Ibikunle Amosun and his economic team in Abeokuta.
He said several developmental issues were discussed during the meeting, including economic empowerment programme, improving business Environment, rural development and skills acquisition programmes.
Also, Governor Amosun said the state government would soon approach the bank for financial assistance.
