Ogun State Government says it is not in a hurry to return mission schools

Ogun State Government says it will not return mission schools to their original owners in a hurry.

Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa, who gave this indication at a meeting with leaders of some christian bodies at the Governor’s office in Abeokuta, urged them to be patient with the Amosun administration.

He said the schools would eventually be handed over to their original owners by the Amosun administration after putting in place necessary structures.

Assuring them that the Amosun Admnistration is willing to hand over the schools, Adeoluwa said its predecessor, the Daniel administration failed to follow the due process and hastily handed over the mission schools to their original owners.

Adeoluwa who said Ogun State has the largest concentration of mission schools in the country, promised that the Amosun administration would follow due process, to ensure a successful hand-over of the schools to their original owners
