Ogun State Government is considering establishing boundaries around its land across the state, to discourage further encroachment on its land by land grabbers.
General Manager of the Ogun State Housing Corporation, Jumoke Akinwunmi, said the growing encroachment on the state government land was worrisome and would no longer be tolerated.
Akinwunmi, who also is the special adviser to the Governor on housing development, said the encroachment was affecting the development of new housing projects in the state.
On the proposed boundaries, the special adviser said the state government would enter into a dialogue with the community development associations of the host communities to curb the activities of land grabbers.
