Residents in Ogun State have disagreed with the plan by the Ogun State Government to construct new roads in the State, including a 10-lane road from Abeokuta to Sagamu-Interchange.
Instead they asked the State Government to concentrate on completing the existing and uncompleted Roads Projects across the State.

Fifty-Three out of the Fifty-Seven Listeners who responded to the question through Phone Calls, Short Message and Twitter, Disagree with the plans to construct the new roads with “NO”
Only four of the listeners supported the construction of the New Roads in the State.
Most of the listeners who opposed the construction asked the state government to focus on other sectors including education, health, as well as the welfare of its workforce.
The listeners while Commending Governor Amosun Good Intention for the State, urged him to be alive with the Economic Realities in the country and complete the on-going projects instead of embarking on the new ones
Some of those who supported the plan said the Governor should be held responsible if he failed to complete the proposed new roads.
