NIGERIA’S 2015 HAJJ PILGRIMS TO GET N1.7 BILLION REFUND

The National Hajj Commission Of Nigeria (nahcon), says it will refund n1.7 billion to some of the pilgrims who performed the 2015 Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
The refund is in respect of excesses recovered from the service providers for services they failed to provide for the pilgrims, and the excess payment made by some of the pilgrims.
The commission chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed, made this known in Abuja, at the opening of the application and screening of air carrier of the 2016 hajj airlift exercise.
He asked deserving pilgrims to approach their respective pilgrims welfare board for the refund.
Nine airlines who applied for the airlifting of hajj pilgrims include Skypower, Donier, Fly-Nas, Azman Air Service, Chanchangi Airline, Top Brass Aviation, Max Air, Medview Air and Kabo Air
