Chairman of the APC Governors Forum, Rochas Okorocha, has said that Nigeria is not a failed state, despite the various challenges facing it in the recent time.
Okorocha who is the Imo State Governor, said despite the ugly picture being painted about Nigeria, the country has not done badly.
The Governor who said Nigeria has cause to celebrate its Fifty Sixth Independence Anniversary, noted that other bigger countries had gone through the crisis that Nigeria is now passing through.
“In the past few years, nobody was talking about agriculture, but oil. And today, agriculture has become the unavoidable issue in the nation’s debate or discuss. All these point to the fact that the nation is moving to the fast lane of development and growth,” he said
He asked Nigerians to be hopeful that Nigeria would recover from economic recession.
