Military to flush them out

Militants flushed out by security forces from creeks in Lagos and Ogun States are gradually returning to the areas.

Chairman of the operation Awatse, Rear Admiral Ferguson Bobai, said the military was aware of their new hideouts, and would soon embark on an aggressive patrol of the creeks to flush them out again.

The naval general said the creeks need to be secured urgently, as NNPC would soon resume the pumping of petroleum products through pipeline from the atlas cove jetty in Lagos to the NNPC Mosinmi depot in Sagamu.
