Eagles to resume training ahead of CHAN qualifiers

Home based Super Eagles have played a goalless draw against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a friendly match, ahead of the African championship in Morocco.

The CHAN Eagles, during the match, played at the Moulay el-Hassan stadium in Rabat, had enough possession, but failed to create any clear cut chances in front of goal.

During the match, the 2014 African Nations championship bronze medalists, played against a determined home base players plying their trade in the Cameroon league.

The Cameronians created several chances in the game, which was saved by Nigeria goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa.

The Eagles will open their 2018 Africa nations championship (CHAN), campaign on Monday, 15th January, against Rwanda.
