Former Nigeria Football Federation Chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima has blamed the problem facing Sport Administration in Nigeria on the mismanagement of funds.
Galadima who is the chairman of Kano State Sport Commission, speaking during a media parley at the second edition of the national youth games in Ilorin, said the government funds sport, but the funds are usually mismanaged by sport administrators.
He warned that Nigeria’s failure in sport may never stop until round peg are put in round hole in the sport sector in the country.
Galadima said the Senior National, the super eagles does not have a standard squad now, adding that that was the price to pay is paying for failing to qualify for two consecutive editions of the African Cup of Nations.
He added that this has made it a huge task for the Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, to build a new squad for the national team.
