Five killed as typhoon batters Korea, threatens Japan
At least five people have been killed after typhoon Chaba battered South Korea with strong winds and heavy rain.
The southern cities of Busan and Ulsan were worst affected, as well as the resort island of Jeju.
Transport, schools, factories and the country’s main port ground to a halt.
The typhoon is now heading for japan, where the meteorological agency issued warnings and flights were cancelled.
