Topic: Aishat Buhari on APC Crisis…
Hajiya Aisha Buhari has been saluted and commended for her courage in speaking out against the inability of the president to run an all-inclusive government especially one in which party members who worked tirelessly for the election of Mr. President would be considered greatly for appointments as ministers and heads of departments and agencies.
Hon Wale Oshun, who was the chief whip of the house of representatives in the 4th Assembly and an Afenifere Chieftain, said this on a Rockcity FM Programme, DayBreak Show. He urged Nigerians not to misinterpret the seeming face-off between the President and his wife, adding that their honest and harmless words were only being misconstrued by Nigerians
He however said he is optimistic that the necessary changes and adjustments president Buhari needs to make to regain the confidence of Nigerians would be seen in a matter of weeks. He also lauded the move by the president to meet with chief Bisi Akande, governor Rauf Aregbesola and Senator Adeyeye, who are all loyalists of Asiwaju Tinubu, upon his return from Germany 2 days ago, saying such reconciliatory moves will simmer the festering crisis in the ruling APC which is distracting the Buhari government and affecting the pace of governance in the country.
