The confusion surrounding the leadership of Nigeria Football has continued, after self-acclaimed president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Chris Giwa, insisted he was issued a valid writ of execution by the federal high court in Jos.
Giwa also visited the NFF office on Tuesday, along with his loyalists Effiong Johnson and Sani Fema, to inspect “NFF facilities” and were also slated to visit the federation’s permanent office at the national stadium complex.
Giwa had stormed the NFF premises last Friday with a writ of execution, a development which caused a mild drama at the ‘Glass House’.
Meanwhile, chief press officer of the Amaju Pinnick-led NFF, Ademola Olajire, has dismissed Giwa’s writ of execution, which he claimed did not originate from the federal high court, Jos.
Olajire quoted the registrar of the federal high court, Jos, Nasiru Gusau as saying the court did not issue any writ of execution on the crisis.
