APC State Governors have assured that the National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, that they would not back any moves to stampede him and other members of the national working committee from office.
Chairman of the Progressive Governors forum, Rochas Okorocha, who gave this indication after a meeting with Oyegun and Other Party’s NWC in Abuja, however, said there was the need to resolve the cold war among the party’s leadership.
The governor said the proposed dialogue would end the bitterness among the leaders of the party, between the legislature and the presidency in order to re-position the APC
Okorocha who said the crisis in APC was self-inflicted because their leadership could not manage the divine victory given to the party during the 2015 polls, called for an urgent restructuring of the party.
The APC Governors Forum Chairman said the proposed restructuring would involve some adjustment to make the party stronger.
