Amosun approves $2m for robotic fire-fighting machine

Amosun seeks equal powers by FG and states to resolve areas of conflicts

Ogun State government is to acquire a robotic firefighting equipment, to cope with the challenges of fire outbreaks in the state.

Governor Ibikunle Amosun, who approved $2 million for the purchase of the equipment for the state fire service, during the 2018 Ogun State Treasury Board meeting in Abeokuta, said the intervention will reduce fire outbreaks in the state.

By 2018, the governor explained that, the challenges of fighting fire outbreak will be greater, when about five high rise buildings are expected to spring up in the state.

Amosun, according to a release by the head, media unit, ministry of works, Ayokunle Ewuoso, said the $2million robotic fire fighting equipment, is the latest being used in advanced economies.
