More than 7,000 Scramble For FIRS’S 500 Jobs

FIRS’S 500 Jobs

More than 700,000 applicants are scrambling for 500 jobs advertised by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

The Agency Chairman, Babatunde Fowler, made this known while appearing before the public petitions committee of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly in Abuja.

The committee has been flooded with petitions from some of the applicants for the 500 jobs who alleged that they had been side-lined from the recruitment exercise.

Fowler, however, said out of the more than 700,000 applicants, more than 2,000 had first class degrees in various disciplines.
